We are happy to announce the new chapter of the "Rasselbande" graffiti life story of FLYING FÖRTRESS (...and some unnamed friends...)!

Rasselbande.... "little rascals". A nickname for cheeky kids as "rassel" refers to the sound of a baby's rattle... but also describes the sound of a spraycan when shaken.

From the first "Rasselbande" print design the gang now turned older and mature (aka Dad-life-boring...). So this is the next (but not the last) chapter of FÖRTRESS' graffiti life history and a hommage to tfe that changes while it moves forward unstoppable. "Finally (like really finally!) i was able to finish this art piece this year!

I started way back in 2003 to sew those helmets made of felt fabric for a set of 4x skateboards. But i never finished it back then. So the helmets ended up in a box in my basement. It took me literally another 12 month to have it ready then.... what a fight!!

Also i finished this canvas i started in 2016-or-so for my ongoing artwork series "Train Model Trooper". This "The Big AKN" is one of the 3x bigger artworks i did (beside the "Colibri" and "Istanbul"). These "AKN" train models were running on a private line in Hamburg/DE and got sold to a scrap yard place. It was a fun action night to paint them at an un-usual stop-over place at the habour, on their way to the graveyard. We gave them some colorful "last funeral cortege". As these cars were "just trashers", this Trooper on canvas got the "rusty industrial marker" outlines.

Here we have some brandnew photos of the "just landed" customized "classic 10-incher" Teddy Trooper.

It's an "update" colaboration of FLYING FÖRTRESS and LYRIC_ONE.

Originally the "SAIGON SQUAD" was made in 2006 by FLYING FÖRTRESS (one of his rare handpainted original customized Teddy Troops figures!) for a group show of custom TTs.

But then he got lost.... missing in action.

And returned damaged and wounded a couple of years later...

So last year FÖRTRESS joined forces with LYRIC_ONE to update the Trooper by turning all these bruises-by-accident into some rusty-weathered-look-in-purpose. So here we have the new but old-looking "RUSTY SAIGON SQUAD" Trooper...

"FDC Feldpost & FDC Luftpost" / print set by FLYING FÖRTRESS

Printed on unique original vintage "FDCs - First Day Covers" by

Deutsche Post/German Post (a thing from "stamp collecting").
Each print is unique due to the different stamps & designs of the FDCs!

The "FDC Feldpost Basic" edition comes in 4x different colors to choose from:
orange - grey - silver - blue / ...and has 1x original stamp on each letter.

The "FDC Feldpost Green" has a totally all-new green print colorway and is printed on FDCs with 2x or more original stamps on each letter.

The "FDC Feldpost Yellow" is printed on FDCs with 4x original stamps on each letter (the "rare and hard to find"-ones from stamp-collecting...)

Comes in a set with 1x individual "FDC Luftpost" print.

The "FDC Feldpost" prints will be sent well protected in an extra cardboard envelope/parcel.
The "FDC Luftpost" print will be sent seperately as a "regular letter by post" with new stamps, stickers & your postal address written by hand on it!
